Sonny Torres Oliva, D.D.S
Founder/CEO
Named the “Zentist” by the New York Times, Dr. Sonny Torres Oliva is an accomplished dentist in New York, NY. In private practice since 2003, he has built a loyal clientele who praise his warm, engaging personality, gentle manner and straightforward medical advice. In addition to providing exceptional cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Oliva is the creator of Zentistry: a collection of scientifically based principles that has transformed the often-feared dental visit into a comfortable, and even relaxing experience for his patients.
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Oliva was raised in the family business, a dental laboratory, and has been a seasoned technician and ceramist for over 30 years. He received his dental degree from the NYU College of Dentistry where he also pursued postgraduate training in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. He lectures regularly on Restorative Dentistry, Laboratory Management and Optimal Patient Experience, and acts as a Key Opinion Leader for several major dental supply manufacturers.
His innovative Midtown Manhattan location offers a full range of dental services in a beautiful loft-like setting with luxurious spa amenities. Dental Aesthetic Studio, the in-house dental laboratory, offers custom hand-crafted veneers, crowns, and dentures that are professionally fitted on-site.

Blair Schlusselberg, D.D.S
Associate Dentist
Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Schlusselberg brings her southern warmth and charisma to our practice.
Dr. Schlusselberg completed dental school at NYU College of Dentistry and continued her training with a residency at a Level II Trauma Center, St. Barnabas Hospital.
Prior to entering the field of dentistry, Dr. Schlusselberg received a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from NYU. She also worked in the pastry kitchen of a Michelin-starred Manhattan restaurant while pursuing her degree.
In her spare time Dr. Schlusselberg loves baking cookies and staying active at SoulCycle or Rumble Boxing Gym.

Lily Yoon, D.D.S
Associate Dentist
Dr. Yoon was born in South Korea and now lives in New York, NY.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, and then earned her Degree in Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in sunny Florida. She completed her residency at the Orlando VA Medical Center where she provided care for advanced and comprehensive dental cases.
Dr. Yoon is also a fitness buff and enjoys long runs on weekdays with her dog, Mango. On weekends, you can find her enjoying scrumptious meals with her close-knit family.

Renee Cuomo, D.D.S.
Associate Dentist
Born in Manhattan, Dr. Cuomo grew up in Tenafly, NY. She hails from a family of dentists: her father is also an orthodontist and her older brother an oral surgeon. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from West Chester University, Pennsylvania, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
She continued her education at NYU College of Dentistry where she graduated at the top in her class. She was also inducted as a member of the OKU Honor Society and received the prestigious Dr. Edward G. Kaufman Award for Academic Excellence. She then completed a three year postdoctoral specialty in Orthodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she received her Master of Science degree. She was also a recipient of the Cangialosi American Board Initial Certification of Scholarship.
In her free time, Dr. Cuomo loves to travel, play tennis and practice yoga.
Tiffany Zheng, R.D.H
Lead Dental Hygienist
Tiffany is our Lead Dental Hygienist and has practiced hygiene for over a decade.
She graduated from New York City College of Technology in 2008, where she held an adjunct position as a clinical professor. Her patience, gentle manner and attention to detail make her favorite with patients.
In her leisure time, she likes to read, go biking, travel and spend time with her family.
Dorota Sidyk, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Dorota hails from Warsaw, Poland and now resides in Queens, New York. She came to the United States nearly 15 years ago and began her career as a dental assistant.
In 2013, she graduated from the New York City College of Technology and received the Dental Hygiene Department Award in Overall Academic Excellence. Later, she also pursued a BBA degree at Baruch College.
Outside of the office, Dorota enjoys running races, escaping city noise and hiking mountain trails.
Mei Wu, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Originally from China, Mei is now a resident of Queens, NY.
She graduated New York City College of Technology in 2008 and has been a practicing hygienist for over 12 years. She is an advocate for oral health and enjoys teaching patients how to better take care of their teeth.
During her free time, she loves attending concerts, trying new restaurants and relaxing with a glass of wine.
Aisa Manuel, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Aisa was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and migrated to New York shortly after she graduated from college.
Her love for dental care started in 2008 when she started working as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Sonny Oliva. She studied Dental Hygiene in New York City College of Technology in 2018 and graduated with various special honors such as the Leonard C. Jaffe Award, Academic Excellence, and Professional Excellence in Dental Hygiene award.
After a full day at the clinic and taking care of her son, Aisa obsesses over kdrama, make-up, and riding thrill rides in theme parks.
Luz Salud
Massage Therapist
A native of the Philippines, Luz immigrated to the United States in 2001, and now resides in Long Island, New York.
She earned a degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of the East in the Philippines.
Since 2009, Luz has been an integral part of the team of Dr. Sonny Torres Oliva, managing payroll and insurance claims. A recent graduate of the Swedish Institute in New York, New York, she has also become the resident massage therapist, in demand for her soothing reflexology during cleaning appointments.
In her spare time, she is an avid line dancer and serves as an officer in her church community.
